Marriage Retreats

During the past eighteen months, CMC and Intimate Life Ministries have forged a partnership, which is having a significant impact on the various outreaches of CMC and the Division of Family Ministries. Central to this working relationship are the Galatians 6:6 Clergy Marriage Retreats. To date, nearly 750 ministerial couples have attended a retreat. Without exception the response from these couples has been very positive.

An important aspect of Intimate Life Ministries' burden is for ministry leaders. Quite often, couples in the ministry become so involved in "giving to others" that their personal lives are neglected. They miss out on the first part of the biblical principle found in Matthew 10:8, "Freely you have received, freely give." A Galatians 6:6 Great Commandment retreat is a time of personal renewal and encouragement for ministry couples... a time to "freely receive."
