A special benevolent fund has been established to help meet the emergency needs of retired ministers and widows. Most of these monies are from the General Assembly Aged Ministers Offering and the designated 25% of the Reformation Sunday Offering. Other sources are the Disabled Ministers Fund and the Needy Widows Fund. All requests for assistance from these funds should come through the state overseer. |
