SpiritCare is working toward the establishment of a network in all states and territories for the purpose of visiting and ministering to every retired ministerial couple and widow. It is the intention, first of all, to express appreciation for their years of service and then to document their living conditions, financial status, and health needs for the purpose of providing assistance where necessary. Also, the visitation is designed to discover retired ministers and widows who may not be on the general or state office records.

When fully operational, the visitation network will provide a personal contact between the SpiritCare Office and every retired minister and widow at least once each year. Each state or territory will have a network of persons headed by the state representative, of a size adequate to serve the number of constituents in their area. Further, the members of the network will collect the names and addresses of children of retired ministers and widows for the purpose of establishing a support group for this ministry.
